Grama Rose was born in Michigan, along with her twin sister Janet. She drove
out to California in the 70’s and never looked back. Spending several years in college, taking classes in music and accounting. Rose always worked hard, over
20 years in the accounting field, and she has been an active Real Estate Agent since 1989, serving San Diego County. She is currently with Coldwell Banker WEST, in their La Mesa office.
In MICHIGAN: Rose’s music history started very early, with singing in school concerts, church choirs, amateur musical theater (leads in King and I, South Pacific, Kiss me Kate, and “Rosalia in West Side Story). Also, in Michigan she sang professionally with a few bands – singing rock music and later Jazz… Her favorite song to sing was “ALFIE”.
In CALIFORNIA: She sang for local churches leading worship for home groups for many, many years. Rose also, led worship for AGLOW International Ministries –
El Cajon Chapter for many years, and is presently their worship leader, singing and playing the guitar.
Rose has been the Co-President of the Republican Women’s Club in Lakeside for more than 15 years, registering voters and educating members on current political events.
