One man recreated a memorable scene from “The Wedding Singer,” making for an adorable proposal to his girlfriend. This is a moment that the happy, newly engaged couple and everyone else on the plane will remember for a long time. Comedian and actor Adam Sandler has starred in and produced films for decades. While he has ventured into dramatic roles occasionally, he is most known for his comedic films, many of which are now beloved. His comedic films include such titles as “The Waterboy,” “Billy Madison,” “Happy Gilmore” and “Big Daddy,” just to name a few.

In addition to those movies, “The Wedding Singer” is a film that even the most casual Adam Sandler fan seems to love. Set in the 1980s, Adam plays Robbie, a wedding singer who slowly falls in love with Julia, played by Drew Barrymore. Eventually, after a lot of will-they-or-won’t-they, Robbie surprises Julia with a sweet proposal on a plane, which includes him guitar playing as he sings a hilarious tune.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one man surprised his girlfriend on their flight to Mexico with a marriage proposal, doing it exactly as Adam Sandler did in “The Wedding Singer.”

The video begins with the young man, Sam, on the plane’s intercom. He makes a heartwarming statement about his girlfriend, and then minutes later, he’s walking down the aisle singing and strumming on a fake guitar. His sweet and delightful performance ended with the proposal, to which Lissy said, “Yes.”

In an interview, Sam mentioned that he practiced playing the song on the guitar for months before popping the big question. But all that hard work on the guitar didn’t exactly pay off, according to Sam.

“I learned how to play it on guitar at first, which ended up being a totally useless because you can’t sneak a guitar on a plane without your girlfriend noticing,” he said.

A kindhearted and loving couple welcomed a blind dog into their home. One of them was initially worried and a little resistant to adding the animal to their household but was quickly won over. Check out this sweet and heartwarming video about one couple adding a blind canine to their home.

Animals are, without a doubt, some of the best things about our planet. Every pet owner – past and present – will wholeheartedly agree. They are some of Earth's most loving, dependable and loyal creatures. Treat an animal right and show them even the smallest amount of love, care and attention, and you’ve likely got yourself a friend for life.

However, when selecting and adding a four-legged, furry family member, most people have a particular image or idea in their head. Often, this does not include an animal with a physical disability. Sadly, this means those cats and dogs who do have physical disabilities are usually left behind and struggle to find homes.

That was the case for Bear, a blind puppy from a litter of seven. The other six were adopted, except for Bear, until one couple decided to take him in and add them to their home. The woman, Angie, narrating the video, confesses that, at first, her fiancé, now husband, wasn’t in favor of adopting the animal. However, Bear and the man quickly bonded and are now inseparable.

Angie mentions that many people questioned her decision to adopt a blind puppy but says that it has all worked out, and Bear has added so much joy, happiness and laughter to their home.

So, how does a blind dog get around the house without injuring itself? Angie admits that she also had these same fears but she soon learned that Bear is much like any other dog.

“But honestly, we both looked at each other after a couple days, and we’re, like, ‘This is no different than a normal puppy,’” she said. It was really, really easy to get used to him. He’ll bump into stuff once or twice, and then he knows it’s there. His other senses are so strong.”

What a beautiful example of unconditional love!

A couple has opened their hearts and home to five children with Down syndrome. One by one, the woman recalls the events that led to her and her husband adopting each of the five boys. Watch the video to hear about how this woman truly has a heart for those born with disabilities.

Every child needs and deserves a happy and loving home where they feel safe and secure. Sadly, there are a lot of children who do not have a caring, supportive home environment. Some are abused and neglected, which can and often does leave their physical and emotional scars.

It's because some children are in situations where abuse and neglect are the norm that foster care and adoption are so important and necessary. Children can get a chance, an opportunity to find the loving, caring and supportive home they so greatly deserve. A clip posted on YouTube tells of a woman and her husband who have provided that for five young men with Down syndrome, as they have adopted them into their family.

In the video, the woman reveals doctors told her something about her unborn baby that would have made a lot of people sad and depressed. Instead, this mom-to-be was over the moon.

“But while I was pregnant with Cody, I was told he had Down syndrome,” she said. “Like, I was super excited, like, overjoyed. And then we went and got the sonogram, and they said, ‘Oh, he doesn’t have Down syndrome’ and stuff like that. So, that’s where it kind of started.”

Later, while on the internet, her family came across Joey, a child up for adoption who has Down syndrome.

“And I thought, ‘Well, what the heck?’ Because I’ve always wanted to adopt a child with Down syndrome,” she said.

After Joey officially became part of their family, Tracee, Anthony, Cameron and Julian soon followed, becoming members of this loving family.

“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, they’re so blessed to have you,’” she said. “But I think we’re the ones that are blessed because they teach so much compassion, and people are like, ‘blah, blah, blah.’ 
But it’s true, they do. They don’t judge people, you know? Like, we have a house full of love.”

Later in the clip, the woman reveals that her love for people with disabilities started when she was younger.

“You met Marybeth. Well, she’s sleeping,” the woman said. “So, I grew up with Marybeth. My mom had a group home with six ladies. So, that’s where my love started. So, I have a love for people with disabilities and elderly people. I love to listen to their stories.”
The woman also mentions that her family will be sent mean and nasty messages through social media. But by responding to each hateful message with love and kindness, she has been able to change hearts and minds.

As the end of the clip states, this unbelievable story is part of a movie called “Made with Love.”

One man traded his golden years for parenthood in a beautiful adoption story. Emilio initially thought his time parenting small children was over, but he made a surprising and heartwarming decision. Check out the short but sweet video of how Emilio became the adoptive father of a 3-year-old girl.

All children deserve loving and caring homes. They want to be somewhere where they feel safe, secure and have peace of mind. Sadly, though, many children do not have this, having been born into less-than-ideal situations and circumstances. Many children have never experienced love, safety, security and peace.

Foster care and adoption are of the utmost importance, offering children a chance, some hope and a future. Emilio, a retiree and father of three grown children who recently moved to Florida to enjoy his golden years, completely changed course and is now the adoptive father of Kiana, an adorable little girl.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Emilio admits that Kiana was only supposed to be with him for a month. However, things quickly changed.

“Yeah, I can’t imagine giving her back at this point,” Emilio said.

Kiana is over the moon about being adopted and having Emilio as her father.

“When I first got adopted, it was so amazing,” she said. “It’s like, really, I love him so much, like so much, like so much, like so very much.”

While choking up, Emilio explains that in the time Kiana has been with him, he has seen a dramatic change in her personality and demeanor.

“And I’m about to tear up because,” Emilio said before Kiana interrupted him.

“I was like so scared and shy,” Kiana says

“She was, you know, in a really bad space,” he said.

Emilio could have sat back, taken things easy, and enjoyed his retirement. But instead of doing that, he is giving a young woman a much-needed safe and happy home full of love and happiness.

A loving and selfless daycare worker gave part of her liver to one of her former students. The woman stepped up in a big way and helped to provide a 5-year-old young man with a second chance. Check out this unbelievably touching and moving story about kindness and love.

Educators are a special and influential group of people. They are in vital, crucial positions. Every single day, they touch and influence young lives. What they say and do in the classroom will impact generations to come.

Yes, teachers are there to impart knowledge on subjects such as reading, geography, history and mathematics. But in addition to the facts and figures they share with the youngsters in their class, they are also in a position to demonstrate love and kindness to those little ones.

Teachers regularly give of their time and talent to help their students. A clip posted on YouTube tells of a daycare worker who literally gave of herself to save a former student of hers.

Ezra, a sweet young man who, because of complications at birth, needed a liver transplant. To try and find a living donor for her adopted son, Ezra’s mother turned to social media. She posted a message on Facebook informing everyone about the massive need.

Carissa Fisher, Ezra’s former daycare teacher, saw the social media post and got to work trying to determine if she was a match. As the clip mentions, she was a perfect match. Soon enough, both went under the knife, with Carissa giving 5-year-old Ezra a part of her liver.

Carissa said the decision to give a part of her liver to the youngster wasn’t a hard one to make.

“I guess, for me, it wasn’t really a decision,” she said. “It was something I kind of knew I was going to do. I mean, how could you say ‘No’ to them?”

What an unbelievable act of love.

Marriage is a big, life-changing commitment. Nothing will be quite the same after getting married. The vows said and exchanged while standing at the altar in front of friends, family and God during a wedding ceremony are sacred and meant to be kept until death separates that couple.

However, before a couple can get to the altar and say, “I do,” one huge, important question must be asked first. Of course, the man must propose marriage to the young lady. Her answer then sets in motion events that result in the wedding and everything that follows that big day.

How the man proposes is supposed to be unique and a story that the couple can share with their children and grandchildren for years to come. Everyone wants that moment to be something they will remember forever. A clip posted on social media shows that one couple will likely never forget their special moment. They got engaged on the “Wheel of Fortune” set.

In the video, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White explained the situation. They mentioned that the boyfriend of a former contestant actually reached out to the show, asking if they would be willing to help him out with the proposal. The people behind the program were happy to lend a hand and also a puzzle.

In the video, the woman solves the fake puzzle, which was “Will You Marry Me?” After she solves the puzzle, her boyfriend walks out onto the stage, gets down on one knee, and asks the all-important question.

Of course, she said yes, and the happy couple celebrated with a kiss and a loving embrace. What a special and unique moment!

How about “faith?” What’s the deal …?

An inspiring young woman has overcome multiple life-threatening health issues. Enduring one of the horrifying ordeals and scary situations she has had to face would be too much for most people. Check out the video about this resilient and persistent young woman who cannot wait to begin helping others despite everything she has gone through.

Life is rarely, if ever, a fair experience. We all have problems and unpleasant circumstances we’re presented with at one time or another. These situations are typically painful, can be devastating and often result in grief and sorrow. However, we all know individuals who, for whatever reason, seem to be given what appears to be more than their fair share of difficulties and struggles.

Caroline Laubach, a Pennsylvania college student, is someone who has faced several massive, frightening health problems. According to a video posted on YouTube, Caroline, who is disabled, was experiencing enormous pain, making it difficult to breathe. It turned out that the young woman, at just 18 years old, was experiencing liver, kidney and heart failure.

She badly needed a heart transplant, but then, days before she would go under the knife, something else started to go wrong. She suffered a spinal stroke reportedly caused by a machine pumping blood to her back that restricted her airflow.

At that point, Caroline said doctors told her family to start making final arrangements.

Thankfully, Caroline was able to receive a much-needed new heart. But her health struggles did not stop there.

She was later diagnosed with cancer.

“It was on my left tonsil. It was on lymph nodes next to my heart. It was in my upper GI, lower GI and my bladder wall,” Caroline said.

According to the YouTube clip, this incredibly strong and inspiring young woman who had already been through so much managed to defeat cancer not once but twice. Now, she is not letting anything stop her from fulfilling her dreams and goals. She is pursuing a degree in nutrition and an occupational doctorate.

“I can’t wait to just start helping other people,” she said.

Philippians 4:13 “I am able to do all things through him who gives me strength.”

What is love all about … really?

A pastor discussed finding and experiencing peace during the storm. He talked about how it is somehow possible to have peace through some of life’s most difficult situations and the only source of that inexplicable peace. Life is not always a fun experience full of roses, rainbows and nonstop laughter. In fact, it will be quite the opposite on many more occasions than we’d like to admit or think about. There will be many trying, difficult times during our time on Earth. Those instances will test our faith, perhaps even stretching it to its limit and beyond.

However, even when we’re hurting and experiencing intense grief and uncertainty, peace is still possible. In a clip posted on YouTube, one pastor highlighted a verse in the New Testament from the book of John about having peace during hardships.

“This is what it says in the book of John 14:27 it says, ‘I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.’ Isn’t that true? ‘So don’t be troubled or afraid.’”

Next, he takes that verse about the peace that surpasses all understanding and applies it to our lives and experiences.

“See, the people who go through difficult situations and still have peace that they’re getting from God, it’s because it’s not contingent on the situation,” he says.

Finally, the pastor highlights a young woman who suffered a horrible, devastating injury that left her paralyzed, making her life immensely more complicated. He then mentions everything that she went on to accomplish following her injury and demonstrates how she found peace amid her struggles.

“All of this was done by this dear woman, who by society’s terms should have no peace, and yet she had peace beyond understanding,” he said. “That same God and that same peace is offered to all of us today.”

Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which is deeper than all knowledge, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

One woman used a passage of Scripture to make a powerful argument against swearing and using foul language. She swiftly made her insightful and powerful point about cussing, pointing to a specific verse in the New Testament. Watch the video to hear what the young woman had to say about swearing.

The tongue and the mouth must be watched closely. The words we say can and do have a tremendous and lasting impact on those around us. They can be used to build one another up and to viciously and ruthlessly cut someone down. The Bible repeatedly references the danger and power of the tongue and how it must be harnessed and watched.

In the short clip on YouTube, a man and woman discuss whether Christians should use foul language. The woman brings up the subject, asking the man what he believes.

The man in the video responds, “It’s your intent on how you’re using it” that matters most. He adds, “I have to change now because God put me in a place to be speaking.”

However, before moving on, the woman points to a story in the New Testament, when Peter denied knowing Jesus on three separate occasions. Specifically, she points to a verse in Matthew, which mentions the third and final time Peter lied and said he did know Jesus Christ.

“So, you know the moment when Peter denies Jesus 3 times, right?” she asks. “Yeah, three times people come up to him, ‘Do you know Jesus? You were just with Him. I saw you with him. You’re a Jew, like you have to be with Him.’

It was what Peter said and did during his third denial that really struck her.

“And he says, three times, ‘No, I don’t know Him. No, I don’t know Him.’ The third time, he, it says that ‘Peter curses and says, I do not know this man.’ So, in the moment where he was trying to separate himself from Jesus and no longer identify as a follower of Jesus, he cursed. He used some kind of foul language. And that’s what really got me in saying, ‘When I do use foul language, as annoying as it is when I do, I’m separating myself from the character of Jesus.’”

Ephesians 4:29 “Let not corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearers.”
