The mission of Calvary Chapel Escondido is to love God and love others (Matt. 22:37-40) by fulfilling the Great Commission, which is to make disciples of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:18-20). We believe that our part in the Great Commission is to make disciples here in North County San Diego, equipping and sending out to all nations in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). We believe that a successful church is a church that is growing in love for Jesus, love for other people, and engaged in making disciples.

Rick Greene is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Escondido, where he teaches the Bible verse by verse with a clear, practical emphasis on applying God’s Word to everyday life.
