Truck Driver Uses Lift To Help Elderly Woman Avoid Huge Mud Puddle

One elderly lady’s day could have been ruined without the aid of a thoughtful truck driver who used his lift to help her avoid a huge mud puddle. It’s no fun to head out sporting your bright white tennis shoes only to realize that you have to go through a monster mess to get to your car. However, this gentlemanly truck driver, along with his partner, helped one lovely lady keep her feet clean by taking a few minutes in his day to make a path through the puddle. We sometimes hear the expression “chivalry is dead,” but this driver demonstrates that is not the case. At a time when lots of bad behavior is captured on film, it sure is nice that this good deed was documented. Bidfood’s truck driver and his off-camera partner work together to back up the truck and make sure the lift is in perfect position. He then gives the lady a hand as she steps onto the lift while carrying her purse and cane. He watches as she walks safely above the water below, and takes a big step down and directly into her car. They exchange a few words and she is all set to go, her feet still clean and dry. By the way, we think she is in pretty good shape to manage those critical first and last steps, too! Bidfood is a wholesale food company based in the United Kingdom with operations all over the globe—South Africa, Scotland, Australia, and Lithuania, which is where this kind driver happens to be working. Bidfood’s slogan is “Inspired by You.” How fitting! On this particular day and caught on TikTok, a Bidfood employee inspired others. It usually doesn’t take a lot to show a bit of kindness. In this case, a few moments, a bit of creativity, and the motivation to make another person’s day just a bit better was all that was needed. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,” Galatians 5:22

10-Year-Old Skates Chilling Routine To 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'

A more beautiful combination of music and sport would be hard to find when compared to Lolly Barnsbee’s chilling skate routine set to Carly Waddell’s rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” We most often think of Judy Garland singing this classic song while portraying Dorothy Gale in the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz. But, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” has been recorded by several amazing artists, including Patti LaBelle and the Bluebelles, Willie Nelson, Israel “Iz” Kamakawiwo’ole, Ariana Grande, Katharine McPhee, and Carly. Carly’s 2019 recording is part of her extended play record entitled “Dream Train,” which includes a few lullabies. “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” is one of those timeless tunes that leaves arms tingling and souls singing. Even though Dorothy may have wanted to be anywhere but Kansas, those watching Lolly’s performance at Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado were likely thrilled to be right there! Lolly, at 10 years old, is a Juvenile U.S. Figure Skater and training for the Olympics—clearly quite an athlete and an artist! Lolly spins and jumps and glades across the rink, and we see the lovely rainbow pattern peek out from the under-side of her sky blue skirt. Her routine seems effortless, and she gives a little smile at the conclusion of her performance. And, one wonders what great things this little girl will do. After singing the most remembered song from The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy falls into a deep sleep and is literally blown away, house and all, to another world. She learns lessons traveling the yellow brick road with her companions, who have a hard time tapping into their personal resources of heart, brains, and courage. On the other hand, young Lolly is already sharing her gifts with the world. What a blessing that is! As she skates, we are also blown away by the performance of this young girl who surely has learned the value of hard work and of the talents God has given her. “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;” Romans 12:6

Dolly Parton And Loretta Lynn Sing A Medley Of Loretta Songs

It is something very special when two incredible singers join forces and create powerful harmonies. That is exactly what happened in this video when Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn sang a medley of Loretta songs. Two of the most well-known women of country music are Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn. Both of these ladies are front runners for the genre and have both had lifelong success as performers. Today, Loretta is 89 years old and Dolly is 75. Their opening song was “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” This is a special connection for both women since they each have conquering stories of being born into financially struggling families. Dolly grew up as one of twelve kids in the great smoky mountains of Tennessee and Loretta grew up in a small shack as a daughter of a coal miner in Kentucky. Both women used their skills of songwriting and singing to share their stories and build their careers. Both musicians have won countless Grammy awards and country music awards. They are chart-topping queens of the country genre, however, instead of keeping the stage to themselves, these artists chose to share one. Dolly helps give a tribute to all the many songs that Loretta produced by singing alongside her in this video. The two seem to share a genuine friendship and sisterhood. Between Loretta’s soulful alto voice and Dolly’s saucy soprano melodies, the two powerhouses join together in an amazing performance. The ladies sang a medley of popular songs of Loretta Lynn while Dolly made complimentary comments in between. She even humorously claimed that her mother was a huge fan of one of the songs “for obvious reasons.” The friendly banter makes the entire video even more entertaining. I love the way that Dolly honored Loretta Lynn above herself. This performance was a beautiful example of Romans 12:10, “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

Mark Lowry Performs 'The Old Rugged Cross' Live

Christian singer and songwriter Mark Lowry worships the Lord with ‘The Old Rugged Cross.’ This beloved hymn is a favorite by so many all around the world. It’s truly the perfect reminder that God gave everything to give us eternal life. “On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross The emblem of suffering and shame And I love that old cross where the dearest and best For a world of lost sinners was slain” Mark Lowry is a talented artist. Over the years, he has been a part of the famed Gaither Vocal Band and even performed Christian comedy. But he is most well known for penning the modern day Christmas classic, ‘Mary Did You Know.’ Today, he is leading us in worship with the iconic words of ‘The Old Rugged Cross’ at Gaither Family Fest 2021. “So I'll cherish the old rugged cross Till my trophies at last I lay down I will cling to the old rugged cross And exchange it some day for a crown” I just love hearing these old hymns and hope that they never go out of style. This is such a beautiful way to praise our Lord and I cannot help but sing along. Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

U.S. Navy Band Performs 'God Bless America'

The United States Navy Band honors our troops with a beautiful rendition of ‘God Bless America.’ This iconic song was written by written by Irving Berlin during World War I. He went on to revise the song before World War II. Over the years, this song has become a symbol of patriotism and love for the United States of America. “God bless America, land that I love Stand beside her and guide her Through the night with the light from above” Today, The United States Navy Band is belting out these iconic lyrics with Musician 1st Class Danlie Cuenca at the microphone. “From the mountains to the prairies To the oceans white with foam God bless America, my home sweet home” It’s truly a stunning performance full of hope and pride in our country. On YouTube, The United States Navy Band wrote a heartfelt caption. “To those serving on the front lines at home and abroad, placing nation before self, uniting to keep the land that we love safe and sound. We salute you.” As our country walks through difficult times, it’s so important to remember the men and women that fight for our freedoms every single day. Past and present, we are so thankful for our military and all of their sacrifices. As you listen to ‘God Bless America’ be sure to send up an extra prayer for those serving. Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!”

Children's Choir Sings Inspiring Rendition Of 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'

There is something so encouraging whenever I hear the voices of children. In this high-quality music video, One Voice Children's Choir sings an inspiring rendition of 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough.' One Voice Children’s Choir is based out of Utah. Their mission is “to inspire the world through the power of children's voices.” This Non-profit believes in making a positive impact through the gift of music. After over a year of a very tall mountain of the coronavirus, this group of excited and talented young people came together to create a music video. In a time when we felt very distant, this song is an empowering cry of reunion. As life is slowly returning to the old “normal,” we are reminded in the lyrics of this classic song that even the hard times cannot keep us down. This single was originally released by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Ian McCann shares that the song was “Released on April 20, 1967, the song made a disappointing No.19 in the US, though it’s now regarded as a classic.” Even though the single did not climb the charts as high as it was anticipated to, it has made a lasting impact in music history. These kids of different ages, races, and backgrounds joined together making their own joyful noise. Don't you know that there ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no valley low enough. Ain't no river wide enough. To keep me from gettin' to you baby. I personally loved the artistic touches of various real-life settings throughout the video. The choir performers were in neighborhoods, walking through downtowns, and then in a stunningly cozy outdoor theater. The videography was top notch and everyone looked like they were having so much fun. I particularly loved how this choir showed a lot of diversity. It caused me to reflect on Revelation 7:9 which says, “After this, I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” We can learn so many lessons from children. Today I have learned the joy of unity, the gift of reunions, and the celebration of talents in others. I hope that you too can enjoy this incredible work of art by the One Voice Children’s Choir.

Judge Cries After 'I Dreamed A Dream' Audition From Powerhouse Vocalist

Even though we may be divided by language barriers, music unites us all. Portugal discovered an incredible artist recently. In this empowering and emotional video, a judge cries after 'I Dreamed A Dream' audition from a powerhouse vocalist. Silvia Pinto recently auditioned for Got Talent Portugal in the 2021 season. In a breath-taking performance, Silvia gets into character and brings the audience on a journey. She selected “I Dreamed a Dream” from the popular musical “Les Miserables.” As the music begins and the singer starts her melody, the judges appear mezmorized. One in particular begins to look personally impacted by the song and as Silvia belts her tune, the judge ends up in tears by the end of the performance. As you watch the audition, it seems to be more than a tryout for this woman. She has put her authentic emotion into the show to the point of finishing her song on her knees. The crowd increasingly supports her with excitement and cheers. By the end of the clip, it is clear that Silvia wins the audience. Carly-Ann Clements said, “Les Mis, is the stage adaptation of Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel of the same name. The sung-through musical was originally written in French… and staged in 1980.” The character Fantine sang “I Dreamed A Dream” when she lost her job and was left on the streets of France. It is powerful pondering how Silvia herself may have had a road of many broken dreams with her singing career and now she is finally on the stage of an internationally acclaimed show singing her song. This makes me think about how God is near to us even in our hardships. Scripture says that He is close to the brokenhearted. There is never a place in which He cannot reach us and love us. Psalm 34:18 says “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

TikToker Buys Woman's Entire Cart After Her Selfless Act Of Kindness In Walmart

It’s been a long day. You have a million things on your mind and a list of things to get at everyone’s favorite store—Wal-Mart. After getting off of work and picking up your kids, you head to the store to get the bare minimum items needed because you live on a shoestring budget. But what would you do if a complete stranger approached you and asked if you would buy him one thing? One woman discovered it’s more blessed to give than receive after TikToker buys her entire cart after her selfless act of kindness. Video creator Jimmy Darts is known for making crazy videos for his 1.7 million fans on TikTok. The secret to his success is taking challenges from his viewers and filming them. But Jimmy also teaches his fans about random acts of kindness too. And this is one video you don’t want to miss. Jimmy approaches a mom who looks weary after a long day of work. When you look at her cart, you’ll see she just has the essentials like laundry detergent and milk. Moms are always on the run to the store for milk! But then, Jimmy approaches her and asks her if she wouldn’t mind buying him a can of Chef Boyardee. Her simple act of kindness to pay less than $3.00 for a can of food blessed her heart. She took his can of food and without a word, began to pay for it. But then Jimmy tells her why he’s actually there. He then proceeds to pay for everything in her cart and takes her on a mini shopping spree. Even though Jimmy insisted she get something for herself, she refused and focused on the needs her son had like needing a new booster seat. Her son Abraham got to shop for a few fun toys, too! If it’s one thing Jimmy knows how to do, it’s blessing people with his kindness in his crazy videos. I’d say, both Jimmy and this mom blessed each other and showed the world how one simple act can make or break a person’s day. "Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor." Proverbs 21:21

Deaf Rescue Dog Ends Up Saving Lives

This deaf rescue dog ends up saving lives by inspiring every person he meets to be more accepting of others’ differences. Even though our brains may be much more complex, we can learn a bunch of valuable lessons from animals. Acceptance can create a world full of love, and Cole the deaf therapy dog teaches children and adults to love one another. The Facebook page for The Team Cole Project describes the pooch’s mission with, “I may be deaf, but I’m helping people hear that a disability is not an inability; it’s a super power!” Cole wasn’t always loved himself. As a puppy, he was stuck in a shelter for months because his deafness labeled him as ‘special needs.’ But when Cole’s future human overheard someone refer to the pup as ‘broken,’ the man immediately fell in love because Cole deserved it. Chris Hannah trained his new partner with sign language and got a therapy dog license. He then brought Cole the Pitbull along with him to work, where he teaches music at an elementary school. Even as an adult I would be super excited to have a dog somewhere they usually aren’t! Chris teaches the kids about the importance of accepting others’ differences. He tells them about the stigma surrounding Pitbulls while Cole gently loves on every single student. This good boy loves the attention and pets! Cole is able to show the class that he is not less than any hearing dog. He listens to commands, cuddles, and runs around to play with them. Chris and Cole now travel to other schools to talk to kids about differences and acceptance. The duo presents complex thoughts in a way that young children can understand. That’s not Cole’s only vest. He also works as a therapy dog at the NJ Veteran’s Memorial Home and the local hospice. He literally wears different vests for each job! The Covid restrictions didn’t stop his service. He paraded around the area in his dad’s car so the kids could still see him. He also continued visits at the nursing home and hospice through windows and doors. The positive pup spreads love across his region no matter what! Cole may not know it, but he is spreading God’s love. We should all strive to be more like Cole. We love, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, cannot love God whom he hath not seen. And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. 1 John 4:19-21

'Light At The End Of The Tunnel' Family Celebrates End Of Pandemic With Song

Singing ‘Light at the End of the Tunnel,’ family celebrates the end of pandemic with song! The LeBaron family knows just what to do to celebrate the relief of COVID-19 restrictions and dangers. They sing together and make a silly video! After all, I think everyone could use some smiling and some laughs. This musical family of five siblings comes from two very talented musicians. Who would’ve thought? Jerry and Denise LeBaron have been happily married for more than 37 years and have created a beautiful and talented family. Their children, in order of oldest to youngest, include Jordan, Heidi, Jayson, Juston, and Landon. Jordan, Heidi, and Jayson are married with little blessings of their own. Juston recently got married, and Landon is still in school. But having their own busy lives doesn’t keep them from getting together to make music like this! ‘Light at the End of the Tunnel’ was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber for Starlight Express, a British musical that premiered in 1984. The entire cast sang the song as the finale of the show. All of the actors performed the entire show on roller skates because they portrayed trains and cars. How fun! So, the LeBaron family took a piece of that fun to celebrate the end of this dark year during the pandemic. They filmed miniature trains and rode on a child-sized train, with all of their kids. If this isn’t wholesome, I don’t know what is! With everyone squeezing onto the tiny train cars, the family cheerfully sings a finale to the pandemic. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel The inside might be as black as the night But there’s a light at the end of the tunnel Their sister, Heidi, had been living in Japan for two years and finally got to visit, making this performance even more special! Here’s to finally seeing loved ones again and staying happy and healthy!
