A young woman battling cancer was reunited with her four-legged and furry friend following a monthslong stay in a hospital.

Life is often not a fair or fun experience, bringing about unexpected and undeserved hurt, heartache and sickness. This is a cold, hard fact of life that can be hard to explain at times, especially when the person suffering from cancer, or some other horrible disease is a child or a young person. But no matter how bad a situation, animals always make things better, even if for just a few seconds.

A clip posted on YouTube captures a young woman’s momentary happiness and joy during her cancer battle. The short video starts with the young woman, who has been in the hospital for a month, being wheeled toward the hospital’s entrance.

As she is being pushed toward the doors, a group of people, one who appears to be a medical professional, given her long white coat, enter the building. In her arms, the woman in the white coat carries a small being. It’s hard to make out what she is holding, but as the clip progresses, viewers quickly find out.

The creature in the woman’s arms is a dog, which she hands to the young person in the wheelchair. Because of the woman’s extended stay in the hospital, she has been unable to see her furry friend. The two pals had been separated.

But they are apart no longer!

It’s an emotional reunion. The young woman cannot contain herself as she immediately bursts into tears. The little animal is also pleased to be back with its friend. The dog is a ball of energy, unable to stop moving, constantly licking the sick young woman’s face. It’s a sweet moment during what has likely been an unbearable and grueling past few weeks.

A woman came up with an inventive and imaginative way to let her husband, a police officer, know that he’s becoming a father.

Parenting a child is one of life’s biggest blessings. Those lucky enough to become parents understand there is nothing like watching a youngster grow and learn. Yes, being a mother and a father is a big, often daunting task, but it’s worth it. 

A clip posted on YouTube caught the moment when a woman let her husband know that they have a child on the way and that he is going to be a father. The overwhelming joy and happiness on his face after the police officer puts it all together is unmistakable and beautiful.

The short video begins with the officer in his department vehicle racing down the street with the car’s lights flashing. It’s likely that the woman reached out to his department or to him directly, informing him that she had an emergency.

Once the young man parks and exits the vehicle, he asks rather sternly, “What seems to be the problem?”

His wife, who seems to understand her husband’s urgency, takes it all in stride. Instead of being rattled, she tells her husband that he has received a package, which he must open immediately.

“You got a package,” she tells her husband.

“Who’s it from?” he responds.

“I can’t tell you,” the woman answers. 

But she eventually relents and tells him that the package is from her. The police officer then whips out a pocket knife and hurriedly opens the box, finally revealing its contents.

It’s a black, elongated cup with the word “DAD” emblazoned on the container in gray lettering.  

He looks at the camera, pointing out that it has the word “Dad on it.” He then, once again, looks at the container. This time, it appears to dawn on him that he’s going to be a father. 

“You’re joking me?” the officer states, unable to fully comprehend the good news at the moment.

Several times near the end of the clip, the young police officer is unable to speak, overcome with emotion. It’s clear that he is looking forward to being a father.

Actor and comedian George Lopez and his daughter Mayan Lopez talked about how they reconciled and have been able to build a relationship after years of estrangement.

Relationships are difficult, often tricky things in which to maneuver. Feelings are not always easy to articulate. Things can come out wrong, and actions can be misinterpreted. Feelings can be easily hurt and lead to massively damaged and broken-beyond-repair relationships. Relationships, especially between a parent and a child, must be handled with great care, love and sensitivity.

In a clip posted on YouTube, George and his daughter Mayan appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show and talked about their since-mended relationship and their sitcom, Lopez vs. Lopez.

The series, as Mayan mentions, is loosely based on her and her father’s previously strained relationship. However, she adds that the program is an opportunity for her to further heal from when she and her father weren’t in a good place.

“This is such an opportunity to heal, and I always wanted my pain to mean something,” Mayan said. 

She added that she has learned how to have empathy and to understand some of the things that her father did that she may not have agreed with in years past.

George added that when growing up, people would disappear from his life. But he adds that as he became an adult, he wanted to break that pattern. He desired a relationship with his daughter.

“I finally realized that, as an adult, that I couldn’t and didn’t want to do that or go down that road anymore,” George said. “And that this person [his daughter Mayan] right here was the one love of my life, and one I would never let go for anything.”

Praise God that these two were able to mend a broken relationship and decided that they needed the other in their life.

The couple in the video are Tori and Chad Masters. They are a Christian family that shares their life on YouTube in hopes of encouraging others. Recently, they shared about the prayer room they put together in their home.

At the beginning of the video, Tori is seen standing inside of the prayer room. “I know that it’s tiny, but it is quite mighty,” she says.

She then goes on to share about how she went about building out the room and what her strategy is when she prays. There are old pages from the Bible on one side of the room, used to cover the wall like wallpaper. And on the back wall, there are prayer requests posted on one side, and then once they are answered, they are moved to the other side of the wall.

“I love having this because it’s such a reminder of God’s faithfulness when you get to come in here and cross it off, put answered, put it on the other side,” shares Tori. “I’ve recently done that with some of my friends who we have been praying for a long time to get pregnant.”

The other wall is broken up into different areas of prayer that the couple has. “There’s prayer over our baby, which I actually started doing when Micah was still in my belly, before I even knew he was a boy….this one is prayers over our community,” Tori says as she points to the different parts of the wall.

One young woman seemingly stretched the laws of physics with her stunning and jaw-dropping ice skating routine.

Throughout the history of cinema, there have been several memorable films. Those flicks are classics and stick in our memories for different reasons. For “The Wizard of Oz”, it’s because of Dorothy's shiny red shoes and her “little dog, too.” When it comes to “Jaws,” it’s when they realize they are “going to need a bigger boat.” 

However, “The Matrix” films aren’t beloved classics because of a specific line of dialogue or a stellar performance, but for a mind-bending scene. Of course, it’s the scene in the first film when Neo slows time and contorts himself, bending his back to where it’s nearly parallel with the floor. 

In a video posted on YouTube, figure skater Sonja Hilmer practices and unveils a move like the one pulled off by Neo. Sonja even skates to a song from the film’s soundtrack.

Around the 39-second mark of the clip, Sonja, while skating at a breakneck speed, proceeds to lower herself down toward the ice and then contorts her back to where she is only inches from the ice. 

She even mimics Neo’s hand movements from the film as he twists and turns in order to avoid being struck by bullets fired by the evil Agent Smith. 

Then, without missing a beat, Sonja hops back up and completes her routine flawlessly. 

If her routine, complete with the Neo-type maneuver, wasn’t impressive enough, the young woman throws in a few jumps, twists and turns for good measure. 

As she strikes her finishing pose on the ice, the handful of people lucky enough to be on the scene as she put on that show of balance, strength and athleticism are blown away. It sounds as if several of them shout and cheer for the young woman.

One young man could not contain himself after learning he had been adopted.

Every child removed from their homes and birth parents has experienced some traumatic circumstances. All children want and deserve to be in a place and with someone who will care for and love them. Love, safety and security shouldn’t be too much to ask for, especially for a child.

In a clip posted on YouTube, 6-year-old Harvey was over the moon after learning that he had found himself a forever family and home. He was literally jumping for joy at the news.

The video begins with the little guy waiting as he reclines on a plastic chair outside on a porch. Seconds into the clip, a female voice tells Harvey they have something they must tell him.

“There’s something special that happened yesterday,” the woman tells the 6-year-old. “Do you know what might have happened yesterday?”

Harvey has no idea what may have happened during the previous 24-hour period.

The person holding the camera then pans to the right and reveals a man standing with a board with Harvey’s name. However, the man points to two words, “forever ours.”

Harvey is still a little confused about the meaning of those words. 

The man lets the little guy in on the big news.

“How about Harvey is officially adopted?” the man says.

Harvey sits up and lets out an audible gasp after learning he has an adoptive mother and father. 

He’s still unsure and proceeds to ask if what he has heard is correct.

“I’m adopted?” Harvey asks. “I’m adopted right now?”

He asks, “I’m going to stay here?”

Once his questions are answered, and he understands he does not have to leave, the little guy is over the moon.

The video ends with Harvey approaching the woman behind the camera for a hug.

One man could not believe his eyes when he saw that all four of his daughters had made it to his retirement party.

Parents want nothing but the best for their children. Regardless of how old their children may be, parents hope and pray that their kids are always happy, healthy and successful. Any parent wants this for their child.

As children tend to do, they grow up and start their own lives. This often means heading out into the world, starting a career, getting a job that takes them hundreds, possibly even thousands of miles away from their parents. Naturally, this means that children and parents won’t see each other regularly.

That’s why one man had such an emotional reaction when he saw all four of his daughters in person at his retirement party, a video on YouTube shows.

As the short clip’s narrator states, one man’s children flew in from different parts of the country to give their dear dad a big surprise. The father, who does not suspect a thing, turns the corner and proceeds to walk up the stairs.

He gets about halfway up and notices the four young women waiting at the top for him. He cannot contain his emotions. He immediately begins crying, knowing that it has been years since they have all been together.

Once he reaches the top of the stairs, it’s hugs, kisses and tears all around. He then thanks the good Lord above for bringing his children to him to help celebrate this special occasion.

“Thank you, Lord,” the man exclaims. 

He later adds, “What a surprise.”

It’s safe to say that he was more than a little happy to be seeing all of his children once again.

A pair of skaters showed off their immense skills on the ice during a stunning and captivating routine set to a hit from the 1970s, “All by Myself.”

Athletes, in order to reach and compete at the highest level, must invest an insane amount of time, blood, sweat and tears in their craft. They consistently and continually push themselves to their limit, trying to surpass what they previously thought possible. It’s only through thousands of hours of intense and highly focused practice that their potential can be realized.

A clip posted on YouTube shows the product of endless practice and extraordinary focus as two U.S. figure skaters – Oona Brown and Cage Brown – display their remarkable routine. The brother and sister duo take the ice and skate to Eric Carmen’s 1975 classic, “All by Myself.”

As soon as the song begins, the two tremendously talented skaters waste no time displaying their skills. They move about the ice with such finesse, skill and beauty, seemingly dancing around on the ice. 

Oona and Cage move around on the frozen surface with such beauty, grace and speed that it appears effortless. Their strength, athleticism and skill on the skates are evident from the opening seconds of their remarkable routine. 

Near the 1:25-minute mark, the two place their strength and athleticism on display. Using only one arm, Cage carries and raises his sister into the air. Then, in what is arguably the highlight of their routine, Cage once again lifts his sister into the air. However, this time, he twirls her around his head swiftly while spinning repeatedly on the ice.

While their routine is near perfect, it’s not without its mishaps. Around the 1:10-minute mark, Oona takes a tumble, falling on the ice. But she immediately pops back up, refusing to let one mistake keep her down.

At the end of the clip, the spectators erupt in thunderous applause. They show the talented duo their appreciation, which lasts for several seconds.

The song ‘Thank God I Do’ by Lauren Daigle was created during the uncertainty and isolation of the COVID-19 lockdowns, as the singer realized the importance of having specific people in her life for a specific purpose. And she shared about how the song came about in an interview.

“This song emerged out of COVID-19 lockdowns and uncertainties. Amid those experiences, I realized God puts specific people in your life for a particular reason. And I needed the people around me to keep my head above water,” she said. 

“With everyone stuck on Zoom during the pandemic, I started several girl’s groups to stay in touch with friends. Because nobody was out touring or interacting in person, the online groups allowed me to see my friends I couldn’t keep up with in a while. That led to this song about praising the Lord for the joy of being in a relationship with Him and for His provision of the right people at the right times.”

One young man showed off his increased level of intelligence when he solved a Rubik’s cube quickly, in just a matter of seconds.

Children are a blessing from the good Lord above. Each one has been gifted and blessed in their own unique ways. As such, children may begin displaying those gifts at an early age. Some children may exhibit an aptitude for sports, reading or in a number of other areas.

A clip posted on YouTube shows one young man, a 3-year-old, who apparently has a natural ability to solve puzzles, even difficult ones. By employing his intelligence and stunning dexterity, the young man solves the Rubik’s cube in a few seconds.

The short, minute-long clip begins with a close-up of the Rubik’s cube as the child sits, eagerly awaiting the colorful cube. The woman filming explains to viewers the current state of the cube.

“Look, I just want to show the people that this is mixed up,” she says. “It’s not the biggest mix, but for a 3-year-old, it’s mixed.”

With that being said, the woman hands the puzzle cube off to the child, who is all smiles.

“Go ahead, baby,” the woman says to the child.

The young man then begins twisting and turning the squares. It’s evident that the child, while looking at and examining the movable blocks, is looking for any and all discernable patterns.

As the young man turns the cube, he has his own personal cheering section. Another child can be heard giving the 3-year-old sweet words of encouragement.

“You can do it!” a cute little voice tells the child on camera tinkering with the cube.

Then, at approximately the 35-second mark of the clip, the child has done it! He has correctly moved and placed all the squares with the same color on the same side.

Pandemonium breaks out in the room as everyone cheers about the young man’s impressive and speedy accomplishment.
