Hope When You're Running Low on Faith | Your Nightly Prayer

Faith can feel fragile when we’re walking through seasons of suffering, loss, or unanswered prayer. Illness, financial strain, broken relationships, and lingering silence from heaven can leave even the strongest believers wondering if their faith is enough. In tonight's prayer and devotional, Jesus reminds us that even faith as small as a mustard seed is powerful when placed in Him. Our hope doesn’t rest in the size of our faith, but in the greatness of the One we trust. Like the harsh winters that blanket Colorado, seasons of despair can feel endless and barren. Yet spring always comes, and with it, signs of new life. In the same way, even when our hearts feel cold and withered, God is still working beneath the surface, preparing growth and renewal. Remember this truth: God has not abandoned you in your struggle. He sees you, hears you, and even now, Jesus is interceding for you (1 John 2:1). Your broken prayers matter to Him. Your tears are noticed. And His presence remains, even when your faith feels faint. Tonight’s Scripture: Matthew 17:20 "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” 🔗 Read more on BibleStudyTools.com 🙏 Your Nightly Prayer Father, You know the heaviness I carry tonight. You see my doubts, fears, and questions. Sometimes my faith feels too small to hold on, but I know even a mustard seed of faith in You is enough. Shine Your light into my heart, remind me of Your nearness, and give me strength to trust You through this dark season. Thank You for being faithful, even when my faith is weak. Amen.

Tomorrow Belongs to the Lord | Your Nightly Prayer

We can plan, dream, and set goals—but sometimes life reroutes us in ways we never expected. As tonight's devotional and prayer remind us, maybe it’s a job loss, a sudden diagnosis, or a detour that interrupts our carefully mapped-out future. These changes might surprise us, but they never surprise God. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us of a key truth: we plan, but God establishes. His reroutes are not failures; they are redirections toward His purpose. Like a GPS recalculating when traffic blocks the road, God knows the best way to get us where we need to be—even if the path looks confusing or uncomfortable. The Bible gives us story after story of this truth: Joseph’s dreams took him through betrayal and prison before the palace. Esther walked through hardship before God raised her up as queen. Jesus Himself faced the cross before redemption was fulfilled. Each detour was not wasted but woven into God’s greater plan. So if your plans feel like they’ve collapsed, hold on to this hope: your dream isn’t dead, and your future isn’t lost. God’s plan is steady, and tomorrow belongs to Him. Tonight’s Scripture: Proverbs 16:9 "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."

Strength When You’re Parenting on Empty | Your Nightly Prayer

Parenting can feel both sacred and exhausting. As our nightly prayer and devotional remind us, there are seasons when the days stretch long and patience feels thin—when every conversation with a teenager feels like a battle or when younger children test your limits before breakfast. It’s in these moments that Galatians 6:9 speaks directly to our weary hearts: keep sowing, keep showing up, and trust that God is at work in the unseen places. Parenting is like farming: preparing the soil, planting seeds, and tending faithfully even when growth isn’t visible. Every prayer whispered, every correction given in love, every moment of compassion is a seed sown. Over time, God brings a harvest—character shaped, faith taking root, resilience rising, and glimpses of grace breaking through. Even in the hard and unyielding seasons, God reminds us that our labor in love is not in vain. He is the Lord of the harvest, and He is faithful. Tonight’s Scripture: Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." 🔗 Read more on BibleStudyTools.com 🙏 Your Nightly Prayer Lord, Help us not to grow weary in the good work of parenting. Some days feel overwhelming, but You promise that in due time, we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up. Remind us that we don’t parent alone—you walk with us and intercede for us. Give us wisdom, discernment, and endurance. Help us see seeds of growth even when results feel far off. Let us parent with love, patience, and faith, trusting that You are always at work. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Bus Driver’s Heartwarming Gesture Will Move You to Tears

A bus driver's heartwarming gesture will move you to tears. Her unexpected act of kindness and love was so unbelievably moving and sweet. Watch the short but powerful clip to see what the bus driver did, which will almost surely leave you brushing away tears from your eyes.

Kindness, love and empathy are severely lacking in the world today. While all of those are in short supply, we seem to have more than enough anger, bitterness, hatred and vindictiveness. The evidence for this is all around us, nearly everywhere we look. Turn on any television news broadcast and you'll instantly be inundated with story after story about needless violence and hate. Log onto any social media platform and you won't have to go too far until you're buried in angry, cruel and cold-hearted comments.

Clearly, people have the extraordinary ability to inflict incredible amounts of pain on one another. And with each passing day, it only seems to get worse. But there are other times, when you see something that restores your faith in humanity, at least momentarily anyway. A clip posted on YouTube shows one of those precious moments in which love and kindness shone through in a world full of darkness, anger and rage.

In the clip, a young man with autism was having difficulty getting on the bus for school. He felt unsure and uneasy about the situation, but that's when the bus driver did something unbelievably kind and loving.

She knew the young man was a big fan of the online video game Fortnite, so she asked him to come and tell her about the popular game. This immediately caught his attention, and seconds later, he stepped onto the bus.

But that wasn't all the kind and loving bus driver did for the young man. The clip adds that the bus driver put a photo from the game near the young man's seat.

The video is a perfect example of how exhibiting a little kindness and empathy can do wonders.

Ephesians 4:32 "And be kind to one another, full of pity, having forgiveness for one another, even as God in Christ had forgiveness for you."

'Angel’ Bus Driver’s Kind Act for Grieving Student Will Touch You

An “angel” bus driver’s kindness and love for a grieving student will touch you. The woman went out of her way to comfort a young man who had suffered loss. Watch the short but powerful clip to learn about this loving, kind, empathetic school bus driver.

Unfortunately, bad things do happen. Not every situation will be rainbows and roses, filled with happiness and joy. It is impossible to go through life without experiencing immense pain, hurt and sorrow. Sadly, those instances find their way to us all at one time or another, and, to make things even worse, they are often unavoidable.

Even the youngest, most vulnerable and innocent among us, children, are not spared from these moments of pain and heartache. Life is not fair, even when it comes to young children who should be able to go through childhood without a care in the world. A clip posted on YouTube explains the massive loss one young man suffered and what a school bus driver did when she knew he was hurting.

Anne Marie Torregrossa, a long-time bus driver, sees her position as more than just a job; it is a calling. She does what she can to make those who ride her bus feel special and loved, including 8-year-old Jack Monterecy. Jack has been riding Anne’s bus for several years now, and every morning on their way to school, the bus would pass by Jack’s grandfather’s house. Without fail, Jack’s grandfather would be out, standing at the end of his driveway to greet Jack and the bus as it drove by.

Sadly, Jack’s grandfather unexpectedly passed away. It was a devastating loss, for sure. To show Jack and his family love during their grieving time, Anne attended the funeral and also made Jack her special assistant on the bus. Jack understood what Anne was trying to do with the new, special designation.

“She was making me be better,” Jack said.

“I try to make a difference in a child’s life, and if I know I did that, I know I did my job,” Anne said.

Not only has she made a difference in Jack’s life, but his family’s as well.

“It’s not that she’s an amazing bus driver,” Jonathan Monterecy, Jack’s father, said. “She’s an amazing person. She’s an angel sent from heaven in a bus-shaped cloud.”

Philippians 2:4 “Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.”

When the Trumpet Sounds - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

According to 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17, the Lord Jesus Himself will descend—not delegated, not distant. His voice will thunder through the heavens, joined by the archangel’s call and the trumpet of God. This is the promise of the Second Coming. No more separation. No more delay. We will always be with Him. If these words stir something in you, share them. Encourage someone today with the truth of what’s coming—the return of Christ, the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, and the eternal hope we carry.
