San Diego Fellowship of the Bible
Church Directory

What is SDF?
SDF is the abbreviated name of San Diego Fellowship of the Bible – a new, non-denominational, elder-led fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ being planted in San Diego County.
SDF Keys
SDF is committed to three simple ideas: (1) the study of God’s word, (2) the doing of God’s word, and (3) the sharing of God’s word with others.
SDF Focus
SDF is about loving God with all we are, growing together in love through the careful exposition of the Bible, and loving our neighbors with gospel intentionality.
SDF Expressions
SDF fosters worship that exalts the greatness and grace of God, Scripture-based prayer, life-on-life discipleship, every member a minister, and every member a missionary in our communities.
SDF Commitment
SDF is committed to the equipping of believers for the work of service (Eph 4:11-12). We challenge believers to take initiative to study the word for themselves and to grow to spiritual maturity.
SDF Together
When we meet together, we focus on the teaching of God’s word and on responding to Him in worship – both in obedience and in song (Rom 12:1-2; Col 3:16). We also focus on fellowship that is rooted in the unity we have in Him, and on building one another up through the use of the tools God has given us.
SDF Equipping
We focus on these things when we meet together, so that when we are in our own individual contexts we can be equipped and prepared to be always ready to give an account to those who ask about the hope that is within us (1 Pet 3:15). In short, we want to train people to be mature believers who are able to share His word with others (2 Tim 2:2).
SDF Values
We value: In-depth Bible teaching, casual and friendly fellowship, empowering parents, encouraging families, providing opportunities to develop and serve, commitment to discipleship, caring about the community.
