Screening Procedures

BEFORE THE SCREENING

REGISTER FOR YOUR MOVIE VOUCHER IN ADVANCE
You must register online in advance for a First Come First Serve Movie Voucher that you will receive via email. Registration closes the day prior to the screening, or when vouchers run out. Everyone in your party must be registered in advance—children included.

YOUR MOVIE VOUCHER IS NOT A TICKET AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE A SEAT
Your Movie Voucher does not guarantee you a seat in the screening but rather guarantees you a place in line. Because of a percentage of no-shows, a limited number of extra movie vouchers are given out. Those who are first in line will be the first to gain entrance to the theater.

RETURN YOUR TICKET IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO USE YOUR VOUCHER
If you sign up for a movie voucher and then find out you are unable to attend, please let us know so we can cancel your ticket. This will help us better monitor how many more vouchers we can give out and ensure that more people will be able to enjoy the movie!

AT THE SCREENING

BRING A PRINTED OR DIGITAL COPY OF YOUR TICKET
As long as you are pre-registered, we will be able to check you in with just your name. However, having a printed or digital copy of your ticket will speed up the check-in process!

ARRIVE EARLY AND GET IN LINE
Seating at the screening is first come first serve. The line for the screening will be located outside of the theater and will open two hours before the screening begins. The line will either be marked by a Radio Staff Member or a roped off area with a sign. Check-in will open one hour before the film starts and the line will be led into the theater in groups at a time by either a Radio or Theater staff member.

SAVING SPOTS IN LINE OR IN THE THEATER IS NOT PERMITTED
You are not permitted to save spots in line or save a seat in the theater for someone who has not yet been checked in. Because of this, we recommend that you wait for your entire group to arrive before getting in line. This will ensure that your whole group will get to sit together. If a member of your party is running late, you can check-in without them, however, they will have to go to the back of the line when they arrive and you are not permitted to save them a seat in the theater.

ONCE YOU HAVE CHECKED IN, TAKE YOUR SEAT AND ENJOY
After you have checked in with a Radio staff member, you will be given a new theater ticket. You will show this ticket to the theater staff so they know to let you into the theater. An introduction will be given ten minutes before the film starts, so be sure to get any snacks or restroom breaks in before then.

AFTER THE SCREENING

Frequently Asked Questions

WHEN I WENT TO REGISTER, IT WAS SOLD OUT—IS THERE A WAITING LIST?
Because we already give out extra vouchers due to a calculated percentage of no-shows we do not give out additional vouchers after they have all been claimed unless we have a significant amount of cancellations. In this case, additional vouchers will be given out on a first come first serve basis. There are still three options if there are no additional vouchers.

  1. You can download the K-Praise (KPRZ) Mobile App, click here so you can be one of the first to know when we have future screenings!
  2. You can come to the theater and wait for the whole line to be been checked in. If there are open seats once the film has started, we will let you in.
  3. If you did not get to see the screening, you can purchase a ticket and see the movie opening weekend. Although a free screening is great, supporting a Christian film with a paid ticket continues to let the media industry know how valuable faith-based films are.

WHY DO YOU GIVE AWAY MORE VOUCHERS THAN SEATS?
Our previous screenings have consistently shown that there will always be a high percentage of no-shows. We give away extra tickets in an effort to cancel out the no-shows so that as many people as possible will see the film. Because this is not an exact science, there is always a chance that we may have more people turn up than seats. This is why we have adopted our First Come First Serve policy. With each screening, we adjust this percentage with the intent of filling every seat without having to turn anyone away.

I CANNOT STAND OUTSIDE IN LINE FOR HEALTH REASONS. CAN I STILL ATTEND?
For fire code safety issues, we are not permitted to have the line inside the theater lobby. However, if you or a member of your party is unable to stand in line outside, we will allow them to wait in the lobby if they still have a member of their party in the line. The person waiting inside will be able to check-in with their group, but not before.

WHAT IF I BRING AN EXTRA GUEST? CAN HE/SHE CHECK IN USING ANOTHER FAN ’S UNUSED VOUCHER?
If another member of your party cancels, the extra guest can have their voucher, but they cannot use a canceled voucher from another party. Instead, they must wait to see if there are still open seats after the whole line has been checked in. If there are open seats, your guest will be let it in.  This ensures all guests who are pre-registered receive their vouchers.
